El asunto de los drechos de autor y propiedad intelectual en internet es un tema muy complejo, pero valga la aclaración, ninguno de mis power points ni videos ha tenido, tiene o tendrá fines comerciales, si por publicar mi power point de los bebes voy a ser demandada judicialmente, pues que asi sea. Yo pienso que no estoy irrespetando el trabajo de nadie, al contrario de alguna manera lo difundo y con mucho respeto, no me estoy lucrando con mis videos o power point, no me interesa hacerlo; solamente trato de compartir con muchas personas, hermosas imagenes pero sobre todo la musica de Ernesto Cortazar.

Hello Anna, I see your point and I will give my opinion and at the same time explain Morelia's. The way it becomes illegal is if you are taking advantage of such material to make a profit of it, that is illegal... one example would be... Paulo Cohelo's Poems.. Sharing them on a Power Point would be as illegal as sharing Anne Geddes pictures or my Father's music if the person creating those power point is trying to make a profit of Cohelo's Poems, Anne's photos or my father's music. Creating a power point just for sharing is not illegal in any way... now... if the owner of that copyright contacts you and asks you to remove his/her material from those power points, then you must do as he/she asks.

Believe me, all these power points using my father's music with sharing purposes only does not harm my father, what really harms my father is people that uploads my father's music to illegal sites and torrents to share it illegally with others. The same with sheet music. That is called Piracy as many of them are making an illegal profit from a copyrighted material they do not own.

The original Powerpoint show was done by one of your members, Adriana Ciobanu from Romania.
I remember because I received that PowerPoint show, attached to my Email, and that was the first time James and I heard your Father's wonderful piano music. I searched the web and there you were, I became a member and the rest is history.
So here is the question, who changed Adriana's Powerpoint show? That is definitely a NO NO!
I will give you my consent to use my PowerPoint shows for commercial enhancement but I do not like them to be altered in any way and I do not like text on my photos, ever.
I hope that you will agree with these wishes.
I like you to do well and better and I will be part of the Power Team as long as I feel that it is done in a legal matter.
After I left your website, for personal reasons, I noticed that you or Morelia had posted many PowerPoint shows accompanied by your Father's music.
They were aquired through Emails because you did not give any credit to the creators of most of these shows like you give me credit when I post my Powerpoint shows.
This does not bother me but let's be careful here and make sure that you won't be sued by some of these creators of these PowerPoint shows or us, the supporters of this ' Power Team'.

Hello Anna, I just read this message and I am really surprised of you coming to my father's site to accuse me of illegal profiting of my own father's music… Sometimes it is better to ask before using those words.
The reason some power points were upgraded with the title of the melody included on it and the author, is because I get many emails in which people send me some Power Points which does not have the melody title and they want me to help them giving them the name... when you have a 400+ melodies catalog, sometimes to give an answer takes hours before I find that melody, the best way to help people knowing what they are listening is to add the title. That is not illegal profit. I am not making any money from those power points, neither the person who created them, these power points were created by people that wanted to share thoughts, music, poems with others. Lets put an example… Philosophy For Old Age… the person who created it, added George Carlin's words… this means those words are not from the power point creator.. that person used my father's music, meaning that music in not from the power point creator…. in few words, he/she just put the pieces together… now.. that person is not making anything illegal as he/she didn't profit selling that power point to people, if that person would do that, he/she would be doing a copyright infringement to George Carlin and Ernesto Cortazar.. Adding my father's melody title to the Power Point is ADDING A CREDIT which is a right that any artist has for his/her creation… Speaking of your Power Points… You asked for permission to use my father's music to add to your power points showing your pictures… That is the correct way to act and in this particular case you and my father share credit in these power points as both are creators, one for the pictures and the other for the music… For that I thank you, for respecting the authors rights and for giving my father the credit he deserves on these power points… The persons that have created all these power points without giving any credit to my father's music, they didn't infringe anything but as they used his music, the least they could do is too give the credit he and his music deserves….. As you can see there is not illegal profit from those power points, I am not selling them, I thought it was clear the name one the link… "Free Downloads" as I do not own them and they became time ago public property and many of them have been even altered translating the words by others…Now… any power point which uses my father's music with or without permission, gives me the right to share it from my father's website with anyone I like in a FREE basis as they contain an intellectual property I own, in this case my father's music…. I am also entitled to decide not to give someone permission of using my father's music for his/her projects, this is what CopyRight means… Anna, I ask you in the most respectful way to be more informed about what you are accusing before writing… Coming to my father's website to accuse me, Morelia or any one else of illegal profiting without any basis is offensive and disrespectful… Morelia is not giving herself credit of any power point she edited, she just added my father's Credit to them so you and many others can be more informed of the content on that Power Point… she is not profiting from those power points, she is not selling them. She is just trying to give a community a better service giving them an upgraded information of what they are watching and listening on the power points people have created, this is not an alteration, this is an UPGRADE to them for the best of the community… This is not the first time we have a problem for a power point discussion but I hope this is the last.
